AEBCF in the Community

AEBCF met with Dr. Catherine Cooper, Liberia's Deputy Minister of Health and Chief Medical Officer, along with other senior officials of the Ministry of Health. The discussions covered, among other topics, the Ministry’s focus on increasing breast cancer awareness, screening and care in Liberia, and the authorities’ interest in working closely with NGOs aligned with this vision, including AEBCF.

AEBCF visited the John F. Kennedy Medial Center in Monrovia, Liberia’s leading institution for advanced medical care and education. AEBCF met with Dr. J. AEBCF visited Jahmale Medical Solutions in Paynesville, Liberia and toured this state-of-the-art medical center that provides a range of diagnostic and specialty clinical services, including digital mammography, ultrasound and CT scans. AEBCF discussed with Jahmale’s leadership ways the Foundation could partner with Jahmale to increase access for women otherwise unable to pay for the diagnostic services offered by Jahmale.
